Bids are required for the entire work as described herein: Install the specified submersible pump with rails, floats, control panel, and electrical service to fully operable condition. Construct a concrete deck lid with aluminum hatch, provide comp lete connection to an existing force main. Install electrical conduit and wiring to provide pow er at the pump site. Install SCE meter service, grade and pour 72"x94" concrete pad for ne w transformer, and any other ancillary items to provide full pump function. Install 10" flap gate and D.I.P. spool th rough existing reinforced concrete canal box culvert. No bid will be received unless it is made on a bid form furnishe d by the City Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidders security made payable to the City of Hanford for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contr act is awarded fail to enter into this contract. All bids are to be compared on the basis of the City Engineer s estimate of the quantities of work to be done. No bids will be accepted from a Contractor who has no t been licensed in accordance with the prov isions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of Business and Professions Code.
