2019 Bituminous Paving on Various Roads in the Borough of Ashland 38 SY of 3' Wide Taper Milling 21/2" Depth 287 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course, PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 ESAL's, SRL-L, 90 lb/sy 575 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course, PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 ESAL's, SRL-L, 180 lb/sy All materials must meet PennDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PennDOT prequalified. Bids must be clearly marked "2019 Bituminous Paving Project" and all bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to the Borough of Ashland. The successful bidders for the "2019 Bituminous Paving Project" will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Borough of Ashland reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Borough.
