New construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Alliston, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 3,200-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The intent of this proposal is to obtain firm fixed price proposals from firms specializing in the construction of a pavilion measuring 80 ft x 40 ft located in Riverdale Park, Fletcher Crescent, Alliston. The existing Lion's pavilion is scheduled to be replaced. The new constructed pavilion will be located beside the splash pad area on the south side of the road. The objective of the pavilion is to provide the perfect place for a picnic in the shade, a spectacular setting for weddings and outdoor parties. The pavilion will be ready for lounge chairs, tables or anything that needs shade protection around our recreation facility. The pavilion will provide a clear span and feature a fully enclosed roof system. The proponent will be required to provide engineered stamped drawings and site must be secure and controlled during construction with appropriate fencing to protect the public. The Pavilion shall include but not limited to the following: - 80 ft x 40 ft wood structure - Excavation and site preparation - Safety construction fence for entire construction period - 6" poured concrete pad with re-bar and sub - grade - 6 ft x 6 ft pressure treated posts - Engineered trusses - Metal roof to match existing buildings - Vinyl siding on gable ends Provisional Pricing for the following: - Electrical run to new structure - Aluminum eaves trough, facia/soffit - Finished ceiling with 1/2" plywood or suitable equivalent Bid values not released for publication.
