The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Creekside Ranch Lift Station No. 1 Expansion including but not limited to mobilization, bonds and insurance; demolition of 2 submersible pumps, riser piping and valves; installation of 2 submersible pumps, with accessories, new rise piping and valves; protective coatings; potable water service connection including service tap, meter, meter box, PVC piping, and valves; site work; bypass pumping; modifications to the existing electrical control panel; and all else shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station. The project is located approximately 2,600 feet (2,600') east of F.M. 359 Road and approximately 5,800 feet (5,800') south of Fulshear Gaston Road, in Fort Bend County, Texas. (Fort Bend County Key Map 524-T). For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) cashier's check or five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. For construction contracts over $250,000, the bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 10 days from the date bids are open.
