Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Budd Lake, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project entails the milling, resurfacing, select base repairs and restriping of International Drive North-Phase 2 for a length of approximately 4,000 linear feet. Additional work shall include the removal and replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk, the resetting of manholes and drainage structures. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00 to insure signing of the contract. Bidder shall submit with a bid a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, stating that it will provide the contractor with a Performance Bond of the total bid price. The Successful Contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (refer to Instruction to Bidders).
