Milling & Resurfacing, Mt Hope Avenue (C.R. 661) in the Township of Rockaway for the Morris County Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering & Transportation consisting of, but not limited to, 53,000 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less, 400 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" to 6", 9,435 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5H64 Surface Course, 3" Thick, 1,905 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 6" Thick, 15 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface, 105 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 25 L.F. 12"x13" Concrete Sloping Curb, 8 Unit Reconstruct Manhole, Sewer, 15 Unit Set Manhole Casting, Utility, 2,175 L.F. Beam Guide Rail, 2 Unit Tangent Guide Rail Terminal, 3 Unit Beam Guide Rail Anchorage, 2 Unit Telescoping Beam Guide Rail Terminal, 2 Unit Image Detector, Reconstruct & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, 17 Unit Tree Removal (various sizes up to 30" diameter), in addition to other miscellaneous items. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bid and Proposal requests are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. The County of Morris In accordance with the Governor's Executive Orders regarding Covid-19, the County of Morris requests that the public maintain SOCIAL DISTANCING. Accordingly, we ask that Bidders/Respondents may wish to consider not attending the Bid Openings in person. We do note that if Bidders/Respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by Courthouse security. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building. Due to the circumstances, during the bid opening process, a bid review and providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted online once available. Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located in the Lobby of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey. TABULATION SHEET: Available within 1 week after close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of Chosen Freeholders will be made within 60 days.
