Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.
The University of Texas at San Antonio received a grant from the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to upgrade the existing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station at the UTSA West Campus. Construction will include but is not limited to replacing the existing 3,000-PSI natural gas compressor skid with a new 4,000-PSI natural gas compressor skid including new filter and dryer. Install new fueling post dispenser with associated hoses and piping. University estimates that the Project will take approximately two hundred ten (210) days to complete, and University desires to have the Project completed by such time. University specifically instructs all interested parties to restrict all contact and questions regarding this RFP to written or e-mailed communications forwarded to the above-named contact person. All questions or concerns must be received by the above-named person University shall have a reasonable amount of time in which to respond to questions or concerns by fax, e-mail or U.S. Postal Service. After the conference, prospective Respondents may submit written questions until 5:00 PM CDT, on August 21, 2019. University will not accept questions after that time. University is not obligated to respond to each question (ref. Sections 2.4, 2.5), and only responses designated as formal Addenda to the RFP will be binding on University (ref. Section 2.5). However, if University decides to answer questions in writing, then University will fax, mail, or e-mail copies of those questions and answers to the addresses provided by each entity to which University sent an RFP or which notified University that it obtained an RFP, pursuant to Section 2.5. Deadline to Respond to Questions August 22, 2019. All agencies of the State of Texas are required to make a good faith effort to assist historically underutilized businesses (each a HUB) in receiving contract awards. All vendors, including State of Texas certified Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs), MUST submit a HSP with their proposal. Failure to correctly complete and return the HSP form will result in disqualification of the vendor's proposal from consideration for award.
