Completed plans call for the addition of a 35,000-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
Solicitation no- 002-34-00-101, 20814 Sealed bids are invited from prequalified contractors for the construction of Crozet Elementary School Addition and Renovation Project. The project is generally described as the construction of two separate additions totaling approximately 35,000 square feet, interior renovations, and associated sitework. The additions include 17 new classrooms, 3 smaller resource classrooms, 2 offices, a faculty workroom, various support spaces, a new exercise room, and expansions to the cafeteria/kitchen to support the larger student enrollment. Improvements to the existing building will include improvements to existing classrooms, the stage and cafeteria (including ADA upgrades), and improvements to existing administration, support spaces and toilets. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $ 14 M - 16 M As of December 21, 2020, the list of prequalified general contractors for this project will be published on or about WED. January 13, 2021. Completion- Phase 1 - August 6, 2021 Phase 2 - June 3, 2022 Phase 3 - August 6, 2021 Phase 4 - August 5, 2022 Work to proceed on or before April 30, 2021, Deadline for properly submitted bidder questions will now be 10 MAR 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
