The proposed project will consist of construction of a 30-foot-diameter reclaim tank, a 15- by 25-foot chemical containment area with canopy, a 45- by 25-foot filter and reclaim pump area, a 12- to 18-foot-wide asphalt driveway along the northern side of the site, and associated utilities and site improvements between the existing and new facilities. The proposed improvements will be constructed within the orchard directly adjacent to the eastern side of the existing well facility on Bradley Road. The purpose of this report is to summarize the anticipated geotechnical conditions at the project site and provide geotechnical recommendations in support of the project design by Michael Baker International (formerly RBF Consulting). Our proposed work scope for the project was presented in our proposals dated November 20, 2017 and was authorized by County of Ventura Work Order Nos. PW18-092 dated November 20, 2017. The work performed for this study consists of project-specific field exploration, laboratory testing, geotechnical engineering evaluation, and preparation of this report.
