Replacement of the 8.5km submarine water line between Pumphouse 1 located at the mouth of Yellowknife River and Pumphouse 2 located at City's water treatment plant; and employment of natural infrastructure improvements as a means to migrate the greenhouse gas production resulting from the construction of the submarine waterline as well as the operation of the City's water and waste water system. TIMELINE: A Request for Proposals to professional engineering consultants to complete the second phase of a greenhouse gas mitigation assessment has closed, and a preferred proponent has been secured. Project will be updated if/when it is approved to tender. Coverage is discontinued at this time.
