Renovation of an educational facility in Martin, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of February 21, 2020, project was awarded to EMJ Corporation but awarded amount is not yet determined. Project Description The STEM Classroom Building is a new 115,860 gross-square foot building with an additional 9,155 SF mechanical penthouse at the University of Tennessee Martin, which will be the new home to the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The project will contain engineering, chemistry and physics labs along with classrooms for STEM and an innovation center. The building is designed to be 4-stories with a rooftop observatory and mechanical penthouse. The University of Tennessee, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) with attachments to define service requirements; solicit proposals; detail proposal requirements; and outline the process for evaluating proposals and select a contractor using the State of Tennessee Construction Services Procurement Method identified as Best Value Procurement Option One. Interested parties and potential proposers must direct all communications regarding this RFP to the following RFP Coordinator, who is the Owners official point of contact for this RFP.
