The City of Kannapolis is now accepting proposals for the installation of 3,658 linear feet of 12-inch DR14 C900 water pipe, valves, fire hydrants, miscellaneous appurtenances and incidental items along Jim Johnson Road, Concord, NC The Contractor shall at all times during the term of the contract maintain in full force and effect Comprehensive Business Liability, Worker's Compensation, General Liability and Property Damage Insurance applicable to Contractor. All insurance shall be by insurers licensed in the State of North Carolina and for policy limits acceptable to the City and before commencement of work hereunder, the Contractor agrees to furnish the City certificates of insurance or other evidence satisfactory to the City to the effect that such insurance has been procured and is in force. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. It further reserves the right to waive formalities and technicalities insofar as it is authorized to do so, where it deems advisable in protection of the best interest of the City.
