Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Concord, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of July 27, 2022, project has been put on hold due to budget.*** The City of Concord proposes to create a terraced garden on the hillside behind the David Phillips Community Center located at 946 Burrage Road NE. The terraced garden will contain 4,000 SF +/- of asphalt trail, 1,400 SF +/- of stamped concrete, 1,110 SF +/- of regular concrete, 880 SF +/- of planter walls, and 420 SF +/- concrete steps. The switchback trail will be HC Accessible with ramps connected in the center by concrete steps. Keystone segmental block walls will be used to create custom plant beds at different elevations of the hillside between the asphalt switchback trail.
