Demolition, site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Everett, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project awarded to IMCO General Construction in the amount of $25,004,258.50. Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the replacement for the Edgewater Creek Bridge. This includes constructing the replacement of the existing bridge, retaining walls, regrading and paving adjacent streets, landscaping, signage, channelization, illumination, stormwater conveyance, stormwater flow control, temporary traffic control and performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof except as may be provided in the Contract Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period offorty-five (45) days after bid opening. The engineer's estimate for this Project is $25,700,000.
