As of September 11, 2019, a general contractor has been identified. There is no timeline for construction yet. The City of Bristol is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to replace the damaged fencing at various locations around Bristol, FL. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to see that his/her bid is received in proper time. No late bids will be considered. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR § 200.321.
