Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade military facility; office development; for site work for a military facility; and office development.

The work to be performed under these drawings consists of a modernization and repair to the second floor of an existing office building. This office space was once a barracks in Gowen Field, State of Idaho Military Division, in Boise Idaho. The facility is just south of the Boise Idaho Airport. There is also a slight change of which consists of converting the 2nd floor of this office's open meeting spaces into two recording studios. This includes covering windows and sound proofing walls and floors. The use of sound rock over resilient channel on walls, tectum panels, Masonite underlayment, self-leveling subflooring, and epoxy coatings will help with sound absorption. In addition, a new stair will be added at the center of the building to help with egress. Alternates for this project will include exterior improvements - roofing, siding, and widows - in that order. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. All work is to be accomplished within 210 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Failure to perform the work within the established time period will be grounds for withholding an appropriate amount of compensation as damages for delay. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho will be required of the successful bidder prior to award of a contract. A performance bond and payment bond are required for this Project, each in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
