The Alexander County Housing Authority (ACHA) is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for the Security Upgrade at both the Connell F. Smith Building and the Loarn Shuemaker Building in Cairo, IL, generally including all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment and services necessary and required as set forth in the Contract Documents. Project Location: a. IL7-4 Connell F. Smith Building - 1101 Ohio Street, Cairo, IL 62914 b. IL7-5 Loarn Shuemaker Building - 1101 Halliday Ave., Cairo, IL 62914. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. All labor, materials, and equipment required to remove the existing security system and associated components such as cameras, access control, control panels, etc., and install new security system and associated components including, but not limited to, cameras, access control, control panels, etc., and required wiring and electrical work at IL7-4 Connell F. Smith Building and IL7-5 Loarn Shuemaker Building. 2. All labor, materials, and equipment required to remove the existing floor tile and associated wall base in the administrative office at IL7-4 Connell F. Smith Building and install new flooring and associated wall base. The existing flooring and mastic are asbestos containing materials and shall be removed through non-friable methods and disposed of properly in accordance to OSHA and NESHAP rules and regulations. 3. All labor, materials, and equipment required to remove the existing door hardware, and installation of a new flooring and base, metal-stud wall, and door hardware on existing doors.
