The work to be completed under this contract consists of resurfacing and rehabilitation of the Betsy Ross Bridge parking lots and access roads and NJ Route 90 along with four (4) of its overpasses. The work to be done includes, but is not limited to: pavement recycling or full depth reconstruction in the parking lots and access roads; milling and paving along Route 90 and overpasses with base repairs as directed; replacement of curb, guiderail, and inlet casting as directed; replacement of signage and cleaning and painting of overhead sign structures; replacement of expansion bearings at Union Avenue and Ramp D overpasses; concrete deck repairs as directed; reconstruction of fixed and expansion deck joints; installation of polymer modified waterproofing / wearing course at the overpasses; spall repairs to the abutments, piers, and parapets and underside of the deck; parapet modifications; epoxy sealing of cracks in the abutments and piers; application of protective coating to all concrete surfaces; structural steel repairs and spot painting; FRP wrap at US Route 130 overpass; electrochemical chloride extraction at Ramp D overpass; repair and reset fence; video, clean, and replace stormwater piping as directed.
