Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 51,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The project is a new 51,000 GSF K-8 School Located 739 Church Street New Bedford MA. The current design includes classrooms, art and music classrooms, a gym, a cafeteria with servery, offices and other support spaces including parking, pick up/drop off, playground and other outdoor spaces. At this time, the owner is exploring the possibility of utilizing pre-engineered steel building for the project as an option to reduce both cost and time required to install the structure of the building There is no mandatory bidder conference or site visit. The project will be subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. Only General and Trade firms that have been pre-qualified by the committee pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149 a process can submit bids
