for Construction Bids Project awarded to : MJR Construction Services for Culvert Materials Bids Project awarded to : Lane Enterprises The project is for the complete replacement of a culvert under Center Road. Bid is to be accompanied by a 10% Bid Bond. A Performance Bond payable to Cussewago Township in the full amount of the bid will be required of the successful bidder. The project entails the installation of the new culvert and removal of the existing culvert. It will be determined by the contractor if the existing culvert will remain in place and in-use during construction, or if some other means such as the installation of a coffer dam and pump will be required in order to properly dry and compact the bedding area for the new culvert. Project Location: Center Rd % mile east of its intersection with Elm Rd Cambridge Springs, PA. The scope of work is for the selected Contractor to perform all excavation, placement, and backfill activities required in order to cut the roadway, install and maintain temporary and permanent sediment control measures, place assemble, and install new culvert according to specified backfill and procedure, remove and dispose of the old culvert, remove and retain concrete retention blocks for the township, backfill all areas as specified, build up the road base, and apply asphalt and reinstall guide rail.
