For RFP - Floor Coverings and Related Services (Statewide) New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Procurement Services intends to establish statewide contracts for Floor Coverings and Related Services Group 20600 by piggybacking Sourcewell's Floor Materials, with Related Supplies and Services RFP #080819. This is being done under the authority provided to the Commissioner of OGS in New York State Finance Law Section 163.10.10.e. which states: "...The commissioner may authorize purchases required by state agencies or other authorized purchasers by letting a contract pursuant to a written agreement or by approving the use of a contract let by any department, agency or instrumentality of the United States government and/or any department, agency, office, political subdivision or instrumentality of any state or states...". The resulting contracts will offer a variety of floor covering products and may be used by all authorized users of NYS centralized contracts.
