Orange County, North Carolina is releasing this Request for Qualifications (hereafter 'RFQ') seeking responses from qualified consultants to provide architectural services for proposed facility improvements at multiple Orange County facilities including the Orange County SportsPlex facility located at 101 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, North Carolina, the Court Street Annex located at 109 Court Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina, the Criminal Justice Resources Department and the Justice Facility located at 104 East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina, 501 West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Hillsborough Commons located at 113 Mayo Street, and the Whitted Human Services Center Complex located at 300 West Tryon Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina. All questions will be compiled, and a complete list of written questions and answers will be forwarded to all firms that have sent an email indicating intent to respond to the RFQ The Project Budget (including all fees): Court Street Annex: $188,600 Orange County SportsPlex: $437,000 Justice Facility: $43,221 501 West Franklin Street: $88,000 Criminal Justice Resources Department: $216,300 Hillsborough Commons: $311,000 Whitted Human Services Center: $111,300 Whitted Human Services Center Medical Clinic Waiting Room: $68,200 The above project budgets are the total project budgets by itemized project and include all design costs, permitting, construction, and owner contingency. These responsibilities include: Developing documents for the scope of services listed from schematic design, design development, permit documents, construction documents, through bidding, and construction administration. This includes design and bid packages by location. Provide a timeline for implementation and completion of the project. Cost estimates are to be provided and/or updated at the end of each phase. Secure any required site plan approvals Attend meetings as required with Orange County or the Town of Hillsborough to obtain necessary permits to complete construction. These meetings may include Historic District Commission review meetings. Oversee construction of the project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
