As of Oct 30,2019 project was awarded to Mayse Construction for $2,100,685.00. The Project consists of constructing approximately 3,100 LF of 18-inch DIP sewer force main, installation of Owner Supplied Pump Equipment, modifications to existing Lee Highway Pump Station, electrical work, connection to existing force main, pavement restoration and associated work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. A. The Owner will secure any land rights, easement and rights of way, and any Tennessee Department of Transportation, Hamilton County, Tennessee DOT and Railroad permits for borings and encroachments as shown on the drawings, if any. The Contractor shall abide by all terms and conditions of these legal documents and permits. B. Permits and Responsibilities: The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Owner, be responsible for obtaining all other necessary licenses and permits, including building permits, land disturbing activity permits, septic tank permits, etc. and for complying with any applicable federal, state, county and municipal laws, codes and regulations, in connection with the prosecution of the Work. C. The Contractor is solely responsible for site safety. The Contractor shall take proper safety and health precautions to protect the Work, the workers, the public and the property of others. D. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all materials delivered and work performed until completion and acceptance of the Work, except for any completed unit of construction there of which may heretofore have been accepted.
