Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The County of Albemarle is soliciting qualification submissions from vendors to provide Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) preconstruction services for the Court Complex Addition and Renovations Project. It is the intent of the County to enter into a pre-construction services contract with the successful offeror. The construction services will be performed under a separate contract(s) with a "Guaranteed Maximum Price" (GMP). The GMP will be established before the end of the pre-construction services phase. If the County and the CMAR cannot agree on a GMP, the County may competitively bid the Project with the other prequalified CMAR offerors. The successful offeror shall be able to meet the performance criteria identified in this RFQ and work with the Architectural team to assure the project schedule and goals are met to support the Owner's needs.
