Santa Clara Pueblo Forestry Department Flood Mitigation & Creek Restoration Construction Summary: Santa Clara Pueblo Forestry Department is soliciting for construction services from qualified firms or individuals to provide services including: Construction Management, Oversight, and Administration; Construction; and Stream Restoration for the FEMA 4199 Flood Mitigation and Creek Restoration project in Santa Clara Canyon. This solicitation pertains to the first of several projects to mitigate flooding, provide permanency to the canyon road, and restore natural stream function of Santa Clara Creek. Description of Work: The construction will generally consist of approximately 2,000' of dirt roadway improvements and 2,500 ' of creek corridor restoration. Work will be performed at three (3) individual construction sites and generally include three (3) bottomless arch culverts supplemented with roadway embankment armoring. Stream restoration structures and floodplain features will also be constructed upstream and downstream of each culvert crossing and along access road embankments. Natural channel design and the integration of bioengineering and natural materials are integral to this project. Per owner, bid tabulations and award will be communicated with bidders only.
