Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in East Point, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of October 31, 2019, the project has not yet been awarded.** The Scope of Work for this project includes site work for the renovation of a park facility with an existing playground. Components include a new fieldstone seat wall around the existing playground, installation of a City owned 12' pavilion, minor grading and drainage, asphalt milling and overlay, an ADA accessible concrete sidewalk path and small plaza, a 4-board pasture fence with wire mesh, grubbing a large area of weedy undergrowth and new grass seed plantings. All bidder's questions shall be directed to the City of East Point, via email to tdjones@eastpointcity.org no later than 12:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2019. No submitted bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time or receipt of bids for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days. The selected provider will be required to submit a Payment and Performance Bond valid for twenty-four (24) months in the amount of the total contract award. There will not be a mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project.
