As of March 3, 2021, the construction documents are nearing completion. Advertisement for bidding is anticipated to occur in late-March 2021. Construction could follow in summer 2021. In 2018 the St. Tammany Parish School Board $175 million in capital improvement bonds passed. The plan includes: New Classroom Wing Addition for Kindergarten to Replace Portable Classrooms; Kitchen Addition and Renovation. Complete Bidding Documents are also available in electronic form.All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn except as provided for by law. Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law, La. R.S. 37:2150.1 through 2164, as amended. Preference may be given to materials, supplies and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana in accordance with law. The Owner reserves the right, in accordance with law, to reject any and all bids.
