The project also includes utility undergrounding, and the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Elk Grove Blvd and Kent Street. The project is on Elk Grove Blvd from School St to Waterman Rd. Project is included in City of Elk Grove Fiscal Year 2026-2031 CIP oage no : 217 __________________________________________________________________________________ Plans call for second phase of the streetscape project features improvements along Elk Grove Boulevard, between School Street and Waterman Road. Included in the plans for this phase are a two-way left turn lane, a travel lane, and buffered bicycle lane in each direction, and frontage improvements on each side of the road. As of July 28, 2025, 100% construction documents currently being finalized. Project is anticipated to advertise for bids in November 2025 and start construction in March 2026.
