Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Covington, Washington. Design plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
Per the owner, as of March 15, 2024, construction is not yet funded, so no timeline on if or when it will begin. The project is still in planning stages. A design team has been identified. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City is seeking a contract with a professional services team to plan a new, community aquatic and recreation center serving Covington, Maple Valley and outlying areas. Consultant qualifications will be evaluated based on response to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and select in-person presentations/interviews. Qualification criteria are more fully set forth in the RFQ document The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
