Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Wilton Manors, Florida. Working plans call for the construction of a 1,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The following Bid has been pulled and will not be awarded, to be reposted at a later date. The City Commission of the City of Wilton Manors is accepting sealed bids for a project known and identified as CDBG 44th Mickel Park Storage Shed. Mickel Park has been recently repurposed to provide a wonderful outdoor experience for its residents and visitors. The park has meeting rooms, entertainment pavilions, a splash pad, a playground, a walking trail, a fitness station, and a ball field. This ITB is to complete a 1,000 square foot (20'X50'X15') prefabricated steel modular storage building at Mickel Park, Wilton Manors. This project will be partially funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and must meet all the appropriate federal guidelines. Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for work classifications are specified and must be complied with. Fringe benefits must be added to the prevailing hourly rates where applicable. Bidders must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 which requires that economic opportunities to the greatest extent feasible be given to low and very low income persons and to businesses that provide economic opportunities for these persons. Liquidated damages will be assessed as stated in the Contract. The City Commission of the City of Wilton Manors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities and to accept or reject all or any part of any bid as they may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Wilton Manors.
