For Motor Repair and Replacement Service The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, intends to obtain firm prices for a period of one (1) year for the repair and replacement of electric motors. The SBSC desires to establish a contract, at firm unit prices, for the purchase of motor repairs and service on a time and materials basis. Replacement motors will be made on a firm district price basis. Purchases may be over the counter, delivered, or delivered and installed at the job site. Repairs may be at the SBSC location or at the Contractor's location.
It will be necessary for the awarded vendor(s) to have a location within (50) driving miles of the Laurel Road Zone office, 1900 Laurel Road, Nokomis, FL 34275 that can be used for employee pickup. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, fuel, tools, travel, and materials as necessary to perform service repair work as may be needed at SBSC locations throughout the Sarasota County. All materials to be utilized shall conform to standards of the trade, manufacturers' recommendations, and be acceptable to the SBSC. Installations must be performed in accordance with local and state regulations. There is no guarantee as to the amount of service which will be requested as a result of the award of this bid.
