The scope of Work contemplated for the above named Project includes replacement of the existing water main and reconnection of all service laterals, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within sixty (60) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed.The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Borough of Keansburg in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the Borough of Keansburg. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The Borough of Keansburg intends to award this Project to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder whose Bid Packet complies with its requirements for the Project, provided that in the judgment of the Borough of Keansburg is reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of the Borough of Keansburg. The Borough of Keansburg reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents.
