Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The proposed project will provide for the new construction of the Coastal Engineering Building containing; faculty offices, classroms, conference room, faculty and student Labs, wave flume research Lab, and support spaces. The building will be one story and approximately 15,000 SF, steel framed structure of type IIB Construction with a Business Occupancy. Exterior materials will be brick veneer and sloped shingled roof according to campus design standards. As of November 2, 2020, a general contractor has been awarded.
