As of 10/28/2021, The Illinois Toll Highway Authority THA is giving its notice of intent to amend its contract with Judlau Contracting, Inc. to provide for Protective Shield Overage for work related to I-57 Roadway and Bridge Widening. Purchase Order #: P-19041 Original Contract Award Amount: $64,352,559.20 Cost of Extra Work Order / Change Order: $335,545.60 Cost Range: $50M - $75M For Roadway and Bridge Widening, Ramp Construction and Toll Plaza The work under this Contract shall consist of: Widening I-57, Reconstruction of I-57 bridges over 147th Street, new CD Road Bridges over 149th, 147th and Dixie Highway, construction of CD Roads A and C, Ramp H associated drainage, signage and pavement markings and delineation, traffic barriers, maintenance of traffic, erosion and sediment control, installing surveillance systems and restoration of landscaping. The work under this Contract is to be performed on: Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 7.0 and Mile Post 8.5 and along Interstate 57 (IDOT Jurisdiction), between Mile Post 349.2 and Mile Post 350.6 in Cook County, Illinois.
