Site work and paving for a water / sewer project in Sugar Land, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.
Estimate: $1,800,000 - $2,000,000 Questions regarding this bid must be received by Monday, September 6, 2021 on or before 5:00 PM. Please contact Kimberly Waddell at kwaddell@cobbfendley.com. The City Council will award the contract as provided in the Invitation to Bid. The City of Sugar Land will give notice of the contract award within sixty (60) calendar days after the opening date and time. The Bidders must submit an Original Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and the Surety with their Bids in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid, inclusive of any Bid alternates, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Performance and Payment Bonds as required after the Contract is approved by the Citys City Council. Bidders must use the Bid Bond form provided by the City in the Invitation to Bid. The Surety must be authorized to write surety bonds in the State of Texas. The City will return the Bid Bonds within fifteen (15) days after opening the Bids except those of the three (3) lowest responsible Bidders, the Bids of which will be held until the successful Bidder has executed the Contract and provided an executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Bidders must clearly state their Bid prices and any conditions that are allowed by the Citys Invitation to Bid. The City will resolve ambiguities in the City's favor or it may reject the Bid. Bid means a Bidder's bid submitted in response to the Invitation to Bid that includes the following documents required by the Invitation to Bid: A. The Bidder's executed Bid Submittal Form; B. The Bid Pricing Form that contains the Bidder's unit prices or lump sum prices for the Project items; C. The Bidder's executed Conflict of Interest Form; D. The Bidder's executed Certification regarding Debarment Form; E. The Bidder's Executed Certification and Addenda Acknowledgment; F. The Bidder's completed Bidder Information form; G. The Bidder's Original Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and the Surety; H. The Bidder's financial statements; I. The Bidder's list of similar projects; and J. The Bidder's list of on-going projects at the time of the Bid The project contains a Base and Alternate Bid. The Base Bid includes the removal and replacement of existing inlets throughout the Greatwood Village neighborhood. It also includes the installation of storm sewer inlets, manholes, junction boxes, and reinforced concrete pipe starting downstream on Alderwood Drive. Proposed storm sewer continues along Millwood Drive, Honeysuckle Lane, Cypress Village Drive, Laurel Drive, Berrytree Lane, and Morningside Drive. Concrete pavement and curb is to be replaced over the areas of new proposed storm sewer. The Alternate Bid includes concrete pavement and curb replacement on the opposite side of the road of the base bid for the streetslisted above and the replacement ofstorm sewer inlets within these areas Questions Deadline Tuesday, September 7, 2021 @ 5:00 PM This project has been awarded to J Rival Construction LLC in the amount of $1,894,357.20.
