Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Clarence Creek, Ontario. Working plans call for the construction of a 103,356-square-foot, one-story above grade, 128-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Construction of a single-storey, approx. 103,356 sq ft (9,570 sq m) new Long-Term Care Home of 128 beds; wood structure with trusses in the wings, and structural steel with OWSJ (Open Web Steel Joists) in the central common area. Project consists of masonry, wood, siding, M&E, landscaping around the building and in the courtyards. Essential infrastructure such as a backup generator, exterior lighting, and gas service is included in the design. Sanitary needs are managed by a septic system due to the absence of a sewer connection. Stormwater is controlled through external drainage directed to a dedicated stormwater pond and reservoir. TIMELINE: Project remains on hold. General Contractor tendered for sub trades in 2024. Construction timelines have yet to be determined. Further update early 2026.
