Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rapid City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project will install approximately 510 feet of 8" sanitary sewer main to address 11 non-conforming sewer services along Saint Cloud Street and an adjacent alley between Saint Cloud Street and Saint James Street. Approximately 770 feet of asphalt street and some curb and gutter will be replaced with the project Each proposal for this contract shall, as a guarantee of good faith on the part of the Bidder, be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check or draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, such check to be certified or issued by either a state or national bank and payable to the City of Rapid City, South Dakota, or in lieu thereof, a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in this State, payable to the City of Rapid City, South Dakota, as a guarantee of the Bidder entering into a contract for the construction of the work and furnishing of a 100 percent Performance Bond. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive all informalities and to accept the bid that is to the advantage of and is in the best interest of the City of Rapid City
