Will receive bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to construct:STEWART COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, NEW K-12 PARKING, LUMPKIN, GEORGIA -1854. Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of the Architect, SRJ Architects Inc., 1108 Maryland Drive, Albany, Georgia 31707, telephone 229/436-9877. A copy of the Register of Bid Documents, listing current Bid Document recipients, may be obtained through the Architect. Prime Contractors may obtain additional sets, and Subcontractors and Material Suppliers may obtain copies of the documents by depositing $100.00 with the Architect for each set of documents so obtained. This is not refundable. No partial sets will be issued. Shipping charges are in addition to deposit. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to the Stewart County School System. A Bid Bond executed by an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. All Sureties must be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia. Cashier's checks and Certified checks are not acceptable. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Before the opening of bids, bidders or their representatives shall attend a Prebid Conference with representatives of the Owner and Architect. The conference will serve to allow bidders to address questions to the Owner and Architect.
