Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Airdrie, Alberta. Working plans call for the construction of a 306,556-square-foot, two-story above grade stadium; fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
Plans call for construction of a new multi-use recreation facility in southwest Airdrie. The facility will be located at the corner of Southwinds Blvd and Southwinds Dr., on a joint use site with Rocky View Schools. Construction will be carried out in multiple phases. Phase 1 - Aquatics Centre, Fitness Spaces, Indoor Play Phase 2 - Triple Arenas and Support Facilities Phase 3 - Field House and Gymnasium TIMELINE: Design development to commence soon. Working drawings for the first tender package will proceed by fall. Construction of the first phase is expected to start in March 2027.
