Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Airdrie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 73,224-square-foot, two-story above grade library.
The new facility will be located at 805 Main St. S, Airdrie, AB. The facility will include Multi-Use spaces totaling 20,000 square feet alongside a Library program of 53,000 square feet. GGA-Architecture is the project's Prime Consultant and CANA Construction in the project's Construction Manager. To support a construction start of August 2023, the City is running this ITT to engage a Sub-Contractor for the concrete scope of work. The successful Bidder will enter into a contract with CANA Construction (the Contractor) for the delivery of this scope. CANA Construction will be eligible to participate as a Bidder in the process and intends on submitting a response. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
