The new 525,000-square-foot building would be a "double-T" shaped building designed to meet or exceed current seismic codes. The project also would include an underground parking garage with 150 spaces. Location: Eastern half of the state Capitol building located at 1315 10th St. Cost: Estimated at more than $1.2 billion Status: After a three-year legal battle, the existing annex building was demolished in summer 2023. Construction is underway and slated to be finished in 2026. __________________ The scope pf this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition, site work paving and renovation of a museum.
