Eastern Michigan University is accepting proposals to provide Programming and Professional Design Services for the Roosevelt Hall Modernization project in accordance with the enclosed Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposals (RFQ/RFP) and the Capital Outlay Design Manual , State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB). Upon review of the RFQ/RFP responses, a committee will create a short list of firms for formal interviews. The Programming will include the review of current EMU needs along with a review of previous program statements and capital outlay requests prepared in the past few years, and the development of an updated program statement for the project based upon revised project scope and budget. The Design Services will then be considered for the professional development of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration Services necessary for the determine scope of work to be constructed and executed. The consulting firm selected will provide the required services necessary to complete the design services with the guidelines, standards and limitations as outlined in the request for qualifications. These design services must be completed within a defined budget. Eastern Michigan University reserves the right to retain all qualifications/proposals submitted and to use any ideas contained therein regardless of whether that firm is selected. Submission of qualifications/proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions noted unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between Eastern Michigan University and the Firm selected.
