The proposed work will consist of installation of landscaped concrete-curb traffic calming bulb-outs; sidewalk widening and new ada ramps; new bike lanes, raised medians, traffic signage improvements throughout the project corridor; new traffic signals at the priest drive and mill avenue intersections; pavement slurry treatment and new pavement markings, together with associated work. The minimum goal for participation by DBEs on this project is as follows: 11.93 PERCENT. The City of Tempe, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252 U.S.C. 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
