Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a civil project in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of 12/03/2019 No start and end date yet. The work includes the following: 1. Rehabilitation of two existing steel filters with air scour backwash system to include: (a) Replacing existing filter media, (b) Replacing existing underdrain system header and lateral underdrain system embedded in concrete, (c) Sandblast and paint interior of steel filters, (d) Replace existing spray aeration nozzles, (e) Replace existing supply and exhaust aeration ducts, (f) Miscellaneous piping revisions. 2. Construct garage addition and fluoride room addition. 3. Furnish and install new air wash blower. 4. Furnish and install new high service pumps 1-4. 5. Furnish and install new chemical feed systems for chlorine gas, fluoride, polyphosphate, sodium hydroxide and other miscellaneous chemical feed improvements. 6. Replacement of existing flow meters. 7. Replacement of pneumatic valve actuators. 8. Miscellaneous electrical and HVAC improvements. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete within 350 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. MINIMUM CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: The Bidder shall have experience as a General Contractor in the successful completion of at least two municipal water treatment plants within the last five (5) years. BID SECURITY: A certified check or a Bid Bond satisfactory to the City of Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total Bid price submitted must accompany each Bid. LABOR RATES - MINIMUM WAGE REQUIREMENTS: This project is being funded by the City of Forest Lake, Minnesota. The project is not subject to the provisions of Little DavisBacon Act. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of the Contract. The Bid, Agreement, and Bonds shall be conditioned upon compliance with all provisions of the Bid Documents.
