Site work and new construction of a civil project in Red Deer, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids were accepted from prequaifed contractors on September 17th. An award has not yet been made. The project will consist of construction of a reservoir and pump station, and incorporation of existing chlorine building and reservoir into the new system. The following list highlights important elements related to the work: An approximately 25.7m x 29m x 2.7m concrete water storage reservoir (inside wall dimensions) An approximately 12.0m x 29.2m pump house (inside wall dimensions) that is a combination of cast in place and precast concrete 3 electric driven water pumps + 1 emergency pump An emergency power supply area within the pumphouse (24h min. capacity) Various mechanical and electrical installations including: water meters, valves, programmable logic controller (PLC), stainless steel piping, variable frequency drives, etc. Well controls Heating and Ventilation equipment Landscaping and access road construction Decommissioning or reclamation of original water reservoir and pump station
