Renovation of an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,500-square-foot educational facility.

Scope of Work to include, all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the renovation of approximately 6,500 square feet on the first floor of the Community Hospital to create a new Interventional Radiology Suite with all required clinical support space as well as the renovation of two existing X-ray rooms under Article 28 with the NYS Department of Health. This work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, general construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC controls, and plumbing work, sprinklers, and coordination with new imaging equipment which will be supplied by others. In addition, this project will be replacing approximately 28,500 sf of roof and provide roof access. There will be associated MEP work in the basement, first floor and roof levels as required to serve the firstfloor renovations and new roof top AHU. This will be a multi-phased project as shown in the documents. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 570 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 18% MBE and 12% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
