F.A.P. Number: AC-STBG-G-1004(5)E Replacement of Bridge No. 11002 on MD 39 over the Youghiogheny River in Garrett County, Maryland. The new bridge will be a 114 ft. prestressed concrete girder bridge with a 40 ft. wide roadway. The work includes the removal of the existing concrete arch bridge, 0.40 miles of approach roadway reconstruction, stream stabilization work, stormwater management, signing, permanent pavement striping, and landscaping. Traffic will be maintained during construction A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids. Bids must only be made upon latest the electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
