Project awarded to : Custom Design Fabricators Amount : 371,558 The work consists of reconstructing and resurfacing the upper, middle, and lower cabin loop roads (1.1 miles) at Hermit Park Open Space near Estes Park, Colorado along with improving the storm drainage in the road areas. Approximately 1,015 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 2,900 tons of aggregate base course, 3,600 gallons of gravel road stabilizing and dust suppressant agent (surface binder), 335 cubic yards of riprap, 338 linear feet of HDPE storm pipe, and 1 acre of native seeding are included in the work. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Prices and terms shall remain in effect for 180 days from date of opening. Note: Deliveries are accepted between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of County-designated-holidays. No deliveries may be accepted on weekends or holidays, including couriers and postal service to the building. All bidders shall be experienced highway and bridge contractors and experienced in the use of the Colorado Department of Transportation's Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. It is estimated that the total cost of all items in the bid schedule will not exceed $440,000.
