Site work and paving for a road / highway in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of February 20 the project has not been awarded yet Cost Range: $25M - $50M The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, site clearing, earthwork, grading and stockpile construction, haul road construction, protection of aviation operation equipment and utilities, erosion and sediment control measures and landscaping, drainage, construction of box culverts, construction of retaining walls, construction of the Chicago Police Department's K-9 Training Facility, building demolition, watermain relocation, temporary traffic signal maintenance, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) infrastructure, maintenance of traffic and other miscellaneous work. The work under this Contract is to be performed on: Western Access Tollway (I-490) between Mile Post 4.3 (Devon Avenue) and Mile Post 5.6 (south of Touhy Avenue) in Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois and at the Chicago Police Department's K-9 Training Facility in unincorporated Cook County, Illinois.
