Site work for a water / sewer project in Sherman, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 10,2020 Project has been awarded to Lynn Vessels Construction, LLC, for $645,216.69. This project consists of approximately 7,100-linear feet of sewer lines (cross country), trench safety, manholes, horizontal drill and dry bore under West Travis Street, and clean-up, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interests of the City may require to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The Bidder must supply all the information required in the Bid Form. The successful bidder shall furnish to the OWNER upon notice of award a performance bond, labor and material payment bond, and one (1) year maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, once project is complete. Bonds shall be submitted by a surety company specifically approved in writing from the OWNER holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as a surety, or other sureties acceptable to the OWNER. Said statutory bonds should be issued by a company carrying a current Best Rating of "A" or better. The name of the surety company shall be clearly written on the exterior of the sealed bid. The OWNER may consider informal any bid submitted where the bonding company has not been specifically approved in writing.
